Proper veterinary dental care throughout your horse’s life helps to maximize your horse’s health and comfort, ability to process feed, and responsiveness to the bit. All dentals begin with a thorough oral examination, using sedation, a speculum, and a bright light. From there, our veterinarians are able to make an appropriate diagnostic and treatment plan for your horse to optimize their oral health and ensure even tooth wear throughout their life. All horses should have a thorough oral examination performed annually by their veterinarian.

Dr. Lindberg has a particular passion for equine dentistry and continually pursues additional education to make sure her patients have the most up-to-date dental care. This allows Dr. Lindberg to perform advanced procedures on the farm, such as extractions with regional nerve blocks to relieve discomfort or minimally invasive sinus flushing.

We are able to offer advanced dental imaging with our wireless, digital radiograph technology and oral endoscope to take pictures inside your horse’s mouth. Dental radiographs may be sent for specialist consult and extensive procedures can be referred to our regional board-certified veterinary dentist.
