Equine eye health
We love spending time staring into those beautiful eyes. However, the horse’s eye is very delicate and ocular injuries and diseases are common. For this reason, any eye issues should be examined and treated promptly to avoid complications. Please call Pinewood Equine as soon as possible with any questions about your horse's eyes. When necessary, Dr. Lindberg will refer to boarded equine veterinary ophthalmologists to ensure that your horse's eyes receive the gold standard of care.
Common eye problems:
Corneal ulcer (scratch on the eye)
Allergic Conjunctivitis
Uveitis (moon blindness)
Cystic corpora nigra
Eye cancers
