Field Surgery 

Many surgical procedures can be done in the field, either under brief general anesthesia or standing with local nerve blocks. Common procedures include castrations, enucleations (eye removals), mass removals, and laceration repairs. When a case requires more specialized care, Dr. Lindberg refers to board certified equine veterinary surgeons to get your horse the care they need.
